UV coated UV is short for Ultra Violet Light-Cured Coating. This is a high-gloss coating applied over the entire front and back of the printed piece. It is not recommended for products you need to write on after being printed.
AQ is short for Aqueous Coating. This is a semi-gloss, environmentally friendly, water-based coating applied to the front of the printed piece. It provides additional gloss and protection, and it can be written on with a ballpoint pen.
Uncoated paper does not have a coating. It is generally not as smooth as coated paper and tends to be more porous.
Matte coating is environmentally friendly, water-based coating applied over the entire printed piece. It reduces the gloss of the printing and it can be written on with a ballpoint pen.
Spot UV gloss applied over only the most selective areas of the card, such as your logo or business name. As a creative alternative, you can use the spot UV gloss to create a subtle pattern overlay that is visible only when caught in the light.
Rack Cards are printed full color on heavy stock and designed for display in an industry standard 4" wide rack, often with other information and offers.
14pt cover is thick and stiff stock. This is a very versatile stock.
